A local lawmaker will convene an informational meeting Monday to discuss price rules and energy markets.
State Representative and Pennsylvania House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe will lead the hearing in Harrisburg beginning at 9:30 a.m.
This hearing will focus on a Minimum Offer Price Rule proposed by America’s largest power grid operator, PJM Interconnection and will include presentations from representatives of PJM as well as independent market monitors and the chairman of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
Monday’s hearing will be streamed live online through Metcalfe’s website.
