One person died in a crash this weekend on I-79.
The accident happened Saturday around 9 a.m. in the southbound lane of I-79 near mile-marker 94, which is just south of the Portersville exit.
Details on the crash have still not been released by police, but the Butler County Coroner confirmed 51-year-old Robert Lepak of Erie died in the crash.
The closure stretched from Butler/New Castle exit to the Zelienople exit.
Crews were on the scene for more than five hours.
