An event later this week will honor the lives lost due to overdoses.
The second annual Butler County Remembers is set for Thursday—which is also International Overdose Awareness Day.
The event will remember those who have passed, with organizers saying its done without stigma and acknowledges the grief of the family.
Family and friends are invited to attend with pictures of their loved ones and will be given an opportunity to speak.
The event begins with a 7 p.m. service at the Grace Community Wellness Center on the Diamond, and then a one-mile walk down Main Street.
So far, 65 lives have been lost to overdoses in Butler County.
