Friday 11/20 interview:
Dr. Elan Welter Lewis talks about the experience of taping a segment for NBC’s Today show. Youth from across the country will pose questions to a local youth currently involved in the foster care system. Questions will focus on his journey and why he would encourage families to consider adopting older youth. Mikel, is currently working with Family Pathways in their Older Child Matching Initiative, he is in a pre-adoptive home in western Pennsylvania. His adoption journey has included stays in Butler, Lawrence and Mercer Counties.
