The public is invited out to Moraine State Park later this week to enjoy the beautiful weather in the great outdoors.
On Thursday, from 5 to 8 p.m. a Family Fishing Day is planned at the 528 Bridge Boat Launch Area.
Visitors will be able to learn basic fishing skills like knot tying, casting, baiting, and removing a fish from a hook. No license is required and all equipment will be provided by the PA Fish and Boat Commission but adults must bring a child and children must bring an adult.
Pre-registration for this event is required by visiting the DCNR Calendar of events website.
