April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and a local organization is raising awareness with a couple of events.
Family Pathways, a non-profit organization located in Butler at Monarch Place on Brugh Avenue, will host a Human Trafficking Awareness and Cyber Safety Training presented by the Children’s Advocacy Center on Thursday.
Then on Saturday, April 18th Family Pathways is offering a “Learning is Dyno-mite!” program in connection with Week of the Young Child.
Family Pathways is also partnering with local coffeeshops to distribute hand-decorated coffee sleeves made by local children as well as holding a pinwheel coloring contest for kids and encouraging everyone to wear blue on Fridays to raise awareness.
