According to a Pennsylvania State Police press release a fatal crash occurred Friday night in Slippery Rock Township.
The Crash occurred at approximately 5:15 PM on Harmony Road, a mile north of Franklin Road. According to the press release Unit #1 had been going to fast for road conditions and crossed into the oncoming lane, striking Unit #2 in the front end. This caused disabling damage to both vehicles.
Bette M Zimmers was the driver of Unit #1 and sustained serious bodily injuries and was transported to the hospital, while Charles S Raisor, the passenger of Unit #1, sustained fatal injuries. The driver and passenger of Unit #2 also sustained minor bodily injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
