A Butler woman died and one person suffered injuries after a single motorcycle crash over the weekend in Washington Township.
The accident happened just after 1 p.m. Saturday on Oneida Valley Road near the area of Annisville Road.
State Police say 69-year-old Douglas Campbell of Butler was driving south on Route 38 and as he approached Annisville Road he began to veer off the road crossing the center line and then striking a guide rail. The motorcycle then continued down an embankment and into a creek.
The passenger in the vehicle, 66-year-old Betty Campbell was pronounced dead on scene. Douglas Campbell suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported via life flight to a Pittsburgh hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
