A West Sunbury man is facing felony charges after he allegedly assaulted a woman in a Clay Township home.
The incident happened on July 14th when police were called to a home in the 100 block of Vidic Road for a man who punched someone in the face.
According to charging documents 60-year-old Phillip Gould hit the victim in the face with a closed fist.
Police were also informed Gould was in possession of several firearms, despite being a felon. Police did find a rifle and two handguns inside the house.
Gould was charged with three counts of a fist degree felony of possession of a firearm prohibited, simple assault and more.
He is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
