A home in Franklin Township was significantly damaged in a fire Wednesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 4 p.m. for an attached garage on fire in the 100 block of Country Lane Road.
Crews from Prospect, Unionville, Connoquenessing, Portersville, Butler Township, East Butler, West Sunbury, Slippery Rock, Herman, Evans City, Harmony, and Oneida Valley were called out to fight the fire which did spread to the attached residence.
The residence was able to be evacuated. The cause of the fire and extent of damage have not yet been made public.
