The Pennsylvania Game Commission is welcoming hunters back to the woods to participate in another opening Saturday for firearms deer season.
Hunters with a valid general hunting license can harvest an antlered deer while hunters with a valid antlerless deer license or Deer Management Assistance Program permit can harvest an antlerless deer.
A list of regulations is available through the Game Commission website. Last year nearly 423,000 white tailed deer were harvested including over 164,000 bucks.
The statewide general firearms deer season runs through December 9th with only Sunday, December 3rd unavailable.
