Firefighters responded to the scene of a garage fire in the city of Butler late Tuesday morning.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center at 11 a.m. for smoke coming from a structure in the 100 block of Kittanning Street.
Crews from Butler City, Butler Township, Butler VA, and Butler Ambulance arrived on scene to find smoke coming from under the roof of a small one-story garage.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time as is the extent of damage. Crews were able to get the fire under control after about a half hour.
