Wednesday is Valentine’s Day and you may be getting chocolates and balloons for your loved one.
But, First Energy is reminding everyone about the dangers foil balloons can pose to power lines.
Because foil balloons have a metallic coating, they can cause power outages if they connect with power lines.
First Energy representatives say last week a foil balloon drifted into a power line near Cleveland, knocking power out for about 600 customers.
