The persistent rain Tuesday into Wednesday has kept first responders quite busy.
According to the Butler County 911 Center, crews had to respond to over a dozen calls for flooded basements in the county.
Many of the calls came after midnight, when another round of rain hit the area.
Local creeks and waterways have also been rising after the last two days of significant rain. In fact, officials estimate that the county has received between 2 to 3.5 inches of rain already.
The rain is expected to last through today as the National Weather Service is keeping the flood warning in effect through 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
