Friday is Fish for Free Day across the State of Pennsylvania and local residents are invited to take advantage of the opportunity to try a new activity.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission offers two opportunities each year so that residents and non-residents can participate in this activity without a license.
All other fishing regulations do still apply though such as certain areas that are strictly managed as “Catch and Release” waterways.
