The Washington Capitals lost in a shoot-out to Toronto Sunday, the Penguins remain one point in front of the Capitals for the final Metropolitan Division playoff spot. Washington has three games remaining in their schedule this week. Their captain, Alexander Ovechkin left Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury.
Carolina defeated the New York Islanders Sunday, and lead the New York Rangers by four points in the Metro. Carolina has two games remaining. The Rangers have three.
