A woman from Armstrong County is facing homicide charges after three dead babies were found in her house.
According to police, 39-year-old Jessica Mauthe of Ford City was charged after the owner of a home in Cadogan Township was cleaning out the house and found a dead baby inside a trash bag inside a closet.
After police were called, two more dead babies were found in the attic.
Mauthe allegedly told police that she birthed the children and then placed them in the house—which is where they were found.
Mauthe is currently in the Armstrong County Prison.
