The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference has named Butler high school graduate and current Mount Aloysius freshman Nicole Nebel one of their “Athletes of the Week”. Nebel helped her team to a runner-up performance in the Red Flash Invitational last week hosted by St. Francis University. She rolled an individual Baker average of 23.8 for 29 frames, setting a new school record and marking in 27 of 29 frames. For the three-day tournament, Nebel averaged 18.3 in the Baker format, 200 in team match play, and rolled a single-game high of 235. She is one of four former Butler high school bowlers who are competing collegiately this year.
