A former Butler School Board member allegedly violated his bond conditions.
According to our news partners WPXI-TV, Bill Halle violated his bond condition to stay off social media. Police accuse Halle of creating a snapchat account the day after his bond conditions were decided.
A Butler School Board member testified that she got a notification on her phone when Halle joined the social media app.
The Butler District Attorney’s Office requested the judge revoke Halle’s bond but the defense argued that the bond conditions weren’t specified.
The judge issued a clarification that Halle cannot use social media and is only permitted to use the internet under certain conditions.
