The former principal of Moraine Elementary School in Slippery Rock School District is filing a lawsuit against the superintendent and others.
Dr. Kristie Shulsky has filed the suit against Dr. Alfonso Angelucci, along with former BC3 president Dr. Nick Neupauer and his wife Tammy who worked at the school as a paraprofessional. School secretary Billie Douglas was also included in the suit.
Shulsky is seeking $500,000 in damages following allegations that she was intoxicated at work.
According to the suit, Tammy Neupauer called her husband after hearing that Shulsky was intoxicated at work. Neupauer relayed that information to Slippery Rock solicitor Mike Hnath, who then told Angelucci.
Shulsky was ultimately fired in July 2024. However, the secretary of education ruled she should be reinstated to that position.
