Former Pittsburgh Steelers Troy Polamalu and Alan Faneca are among 15 modern-era finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2020. Polamalu was an eight-time NFL Pro Bowl safety who is in his first year of eligibility. Faneca is a finalist for the fifth time. He was named to the Pro Bowl nine times. Wide receiver Hines Ward did not make the list after being announced as a semifinalist in November. The five finalists will be announced February 1st, the night before the Super Bowl.
The NFL playoffs begin this weekend with the Wild Card games.
The AFC games will be played Saturday:
–Houston will host Buffalo at 4:35pm.
–New England will host Tennessee at 8:15pm.
The NFC Wild Card Games Sunday:
–New Orleans will host Minnesota at 1:05pm.
–Seattle will visit Philadelphia at 4:40pm.
