The rate of new COVID-19 cases in Butler County continues to slow as four confirmed cases were announced by state officials Thursday.
That brings Butler County’s total number of confirmed cases to 154, with five people having died due to complications from the coronavirus.
Butler Memorial Hospital meanwhile is treating eight patients for COVID-19 symptoms—two of whom are in the ICU.
There were over 1,200 new cases of COVID-19 reported statewide today, bringing the total to 27,735.
Over 700 people have now died in Pennsylvania from the coronavirus.
The state however has also reported that 113,735 negative tests.
