This week marks the Week of the Young Child.
During the week, Lifesteps will be hosting a couple of events focusing on children in the community.
They are also offering free developmental screenings for children. The screenings look at certain aspects of hearing, talking, seeing, playing, and basic social skills.
The 30-minute Child Checks are available in Butler and surrounding counties. You can schedule a free screening at 724-283-1010.
