The Freeport Area School District has opted against publishing names of residents who are delinquent on taxes.
The board decided against putting the names of people who haven’t paid their school taxes on the district’s website.
The debate started as the district is owed $1.4 million in delinquent taxes.
Although, officials say $800,000 of that is in unpaid oil and mineral rights.
