Girls Soccer Monday:
–Freeport-2 Burrell-1 in overtime. Samantha Liput and Camryn Woods scored for the Yellow Jackets, who took over sole possession of first place in Class 2A Section 2 with the victory. The Lady Yellow Jackets are now 8-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 in section play.
–North Catholic-2 Quaker Valley-1 in overtime.
–North Allegheny-8 Butler-0. The Tigers remained unbeaten at 13-0 overall and 10-0 in Class 4A Section 1. Butler fell to 7-6 overall and 5-5 in section play.
–Mars-3 Oakland Catholic-0. Mars improved to 11-0 overall and 9-0 in section play.
–Knoch-13 Valley-0.
Girls Tennis:
–Hampton-4 Butler-1. Laini Spohn of the Golden Tornado was the lone winner, with a straight set 6-0, 6-0 victory.
Hockey:
–Greensburg Salem-3 Mars-1.
–Morgantown-10 Knoch-2.
