–Freeport’s Mark Livingston was the runner-up in the WPIBL Singles Championships in Mt. Lebanon. Livingston qualified fifth and won his quarterfinal and semifinal matches before falling 195-191 to Nick Johnson of Thomas Jefferson in the championship round. Mark will move on to the Pennsylvania Western Regional Tournament next week. He will be joined by teammates Issiac Spencer and Blake Olsen who have also qualified for the regional.
–Butler Bowlers Rocco Rice, Alex Ekas and Eric Devore have also qualified for the Regional tournament. Rice shot the third-highest game of the tournament with a 234 in the final game to jump into the top 20. Ekas rolled a 222 to reach the top 25 of 40 automatic regional qualifiers. Devore reached the next tournament based on season average.
–Seneca Valley’s Jason Hartenstein has also qualified for the regional tourney.
The WPIBL Girls Singles Tournament is today in Mt. Lebanon.
