A majority of Butler County is waking up this morning after receiving a significant amount of freezing rain last night.
A projected second round of snow never really developed for the county, instead it was a steady dose of freezing rain. The inclement weather also led many school districts to close today.
Crews have been out treating roads in the overnight, and very few vehicle accidents were reported by the Butler County 911 Center last evening.
Officials do warn that if you have to travel this morning, to give yourself extra time and to also be careful on untreated sidewalks and driveways.
