The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Miami Marlins 6-5 in 12 innings Thursday. Jared Triolo hit a single that drove in Ke’Bryan Hayes in the top of the 12th. Bryan Reynolds, Oneill Cruz and Edward Olivares hit home runs in the game. The same two teams will play this evening, you can hear the game on WISR beginning with the pregame at 6:45pm. Left-handed pitcher Martin Perez will get the start for the Bucs.
The Pittsburgh Penguins were 3-2 winners over the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday night. Evgeni Malkin scored 2 goals and Drew O’Connor had the other. The Pens travel to Columbus for a game Saturday night, Listen to the action on WISR starting at 6:30pm.
