There were 43 new cases of COVID-19 and three additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Friday.
That now brings the death toll in the county 381 since the beginning of the pandemic.
As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 11 patients for the coronavirus which is an increase of four compared to Wednesday, with five patients in the ICU which is up from three on Wednesday. The Butler Health System also reported one death as a result of COVID-19 infection to the state on Thursday.
Statewide there were 3,455 new cases today along with 35 additional deaths. Hospitalizations across the state dropped slightly by about 30, according to the Department of Health.
