There were 45 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Friday.
Statewide, there were 3,069 new cases and 40 additional deaths.
As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating nine patients for the coronavirus which is up two from Wednesday, with two COVID patients in the ICU which is down one compared to Wednesday.
Hospitalizations across Pennsylvania meanwhile continue to trend downward since the beginning of the week. There are now 1,463 people receiving treatment for the coronavirus, which is down about 40 since Monday.
