There were 52 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Friday.
That keeps the death toll at 402 for the county according to the Department of Health.
As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 11 patients for the coronavirus which is a decrease of one compared to Wednesday, with two COVID patients in the ICU which is also a decrease of one. Butler Health System reported one death to the state on Friday.
For the first time in a number of weeks, hospitalizations have actually declined in Pennsylvania. The latest numbers from the DOH show just over 2,700 people are being treated for COVID. That’s down nearly 100 since Monday.
There were 4,188 new cases of COVID-19 statewide, and 59 additional deaths.
