There’s been a slight decline in hospitalizations at Butler Memorial Hospital.
According to the Friday morning update, 16 patients were being treated for the coronavirus, with one COVID patient in the ICU. That’s down four patients since Wednesday.
Butler Health System officials are reiterating that a majority of patients who are hospitalized with COVID have not received the vaccine. There are a number of appointments available at the vaccine clinic at the Clearview Mall available for next week.
As for the number of cases, the daily update from the Department of Health was unavailable at the time of this report.
