The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting two new COVID-19 cases in Butler County—bringing the county’s total to 180.
Meanwhile, the Commonwealth is nearing 48,000 confirmed cases as of Friday afternoon.
The death toll is 2,354.
There have been over 180,000 negative tests statewide.
As of Friday afternoon, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 8 patients for COVID-19.
COVID-19 cases in the region:
- Armstrong: 52 positive/683 negative/2 deaths
- Beaver: 426 positive/2,085 negative/67 deaths
- Clarion: 23 positive/489 negative/1 death
- Lawrence:65 positive/736 negative/6 deaths
- Mercer: 65 positive/744 negative/1 death
- Venango: 7 positive/251 negative/0 deaths
