Statewide gambling revenue reached record levels over the last fiscal year.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board released their annual report, which found that last year saw $6.4 billion in overall gaming revenue. That was the most ever in the nearly 20-year history of legalized casinos in Pennsylvania.
The board also noted that the industry supported 16,000 jobs at casinos across the state.
Tax revenue for Pennsylvania worked out to $2.8 billion.
