The Pennsylvania Game Commission has finalized some modifications to its license-issuing agent program.
Following recent changes in how licenses are sold, the Commission decided to assess the impact on license sales and business costs with a goal of reducing regulations and costs for license-selling partners.
The Commission gave final approval to a reduction of the annual issuing agent application fee from $500 to $200.
The Commission also reduced the annual bond rate from $18,000 to $11,000, reduced the annual minimum sales requirement from 50 to 25 with mentored hunting permits included in sales figures, and eliminated the previous November through March agent application window.
