After the law was changed earlier this month to allow Sunday hunting, more dates have been officially added to this year’s hunting seasons.
The PA Game Commission recently announced 13 Sundays of hunting this season beginning with September 14th and continuing through December 7th.
These additional Sundays apply to all species with open seasons with the exception of migratory game birds since those seasons are set through a federal framework.
Many established hunting seasons will continue to close as scheduled on a Saturday such as firearms deer season which ends December 13th.
