The Pennsylvania is reminding all hunters harvesting bears during firearm season that they are required within 24 hours to have their bears checked at a Game Commission check station.
If you plan on heading north for bear hunting season, the Game Commission is making a location change to the check station.
Officials say the original location in Forest County is now moving to the Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Company in Clarion County.
The VFC is located on Route 36 near the intersection with Route 66 in Leeper.
Firearm bear season is November 20-23.
