The Pennsylvania Game Commission is asking for public feedback about a fish and wildlife conservation plan for the next ten years.
As a congressional requirement of the State Wildlife Action Plan, revisions must be made at least once every ten years.
This plan is a combined effort of the Game Commission and Fish and Boat Commission as well as other conservation partners to gather and analyze information related to nearly 900 Species of Greatest Need including 86 birds, 21 mammals, 19 amphibians, 18 reptiles, 47 fishes and 667 invertebrates that require attention.
A draft of the plan along with public comment forms can be found online through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania website. The deadline to submit a comment is September 19th.
