The Pennsylvania Game Commission believes a change in how antlerless deer licenses are sold will help reduce wait times.
The commission has changed their rollout of selling the licenses. The three most popular wildlife management units will be sold first, starting on June 24th. That includes unit 1B, which is the very northwestern part of the state.
Licenses for the remaining units will then be sold on June 27th.
Last year, there were technical difficulties that resulted in website issues for the Game Commission. Officials believe this staggered rollout will help ease wait times.
Licenses can still be purchased over the counter as well.
