Despite the holiday travel period, the price of gas continues to trend downward.
AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Butler is $3.14—which is down six cents compared to last week.
That follows a national trend, which saw gas prices drop another three cents, averaging $2.82. This is the lowest gas prices have been since December 2020.
AAA says cheaper crude oil and higher supply is resulting in the falling gas prices.
