Gas prices have skyrocketed following the attacks in Iran.
The national average jumped 20 cents in the last two days to $3.19.
Local gas prices have followed suit as well. According to the latest available data, the average gas price in Butler is $3.46—up 15 cents since the beginning of the week. There are some gas stations selling a gallon of unleaded for $3.59.
AAA officials say drivers should expect prices to go up as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.
