A man from Georgia is accused of stealing thousands from Home Depots along the east coast, including here in Butler County.
Last Tuesday, police were called to the Home Depot on Dutih Road in Cranberry Township for retail theft that happened earlier that day.
After looking at surveillance video, police identified 28-year-old Antonio Bryant as the individual who switched price tags from less expensive items to more expensive ones.
He then was found by police in Allegheny County by committing similar crimes at a Home Depot in Ohio Township.
After an investigation, Home Depot’s security team determined that Bryant has stolen over $50,000 in items from numerous stores.
