A “ghost bike” that memorialized a young man who died in an accident two years ago is now back at its location after it went missing last week.
Cranberry Township Police returned the bike to the mother of Aleksander Teimouri, a 22-year-old Seneca Valley graduate who was riding his bike on Rochester Road when he was killed by an alleged drunk-driver in December of 2018.
The ghost bike has been near the scene of the accident since a prayer service and vigil was held there days after Teimouri’s death.
Police say the bike was found in some bushes by people who were picking berries.
