A large number of local residents will be joining in an upcoming local golf event to benefit a great cause.
The third annual Glade Run Fall Classic golf tournament will take place Friday at Conley Resort Golf Club.
With registration beginning at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9:30, participants will enjoy a relaxing day on the links along with awards and skill prizes. A buffet lunch is provided as golfers finish.
Proceeds will allow the Winter Warming Center on East Diamond Street to help individuals experiencing homelessness beginning nightly at 8 p.m. October through March.
