A local organization has decided to rename their school to be more representative and inclusive of their students.
Glade Run Lutheran Services has changed the name of their privately-licensed K-12 schools located in Zelienople and Utica, PA from St. Stephen’s Lutheran Academy to Glade Run Academy.
The schools serve students from over 50 school districts who have been unsuccessful in public school settings because of challenges associated with emotional/behavioral health issues and/or autism. Glade Run Academy is licensed by the Department of Education and certified in the Sanctuary Model of trauma informed care.
The agency’s historic Zelienople campus serves children and adults throughout Western PA with program locations in downtown Butler and surrounding communities.
