A GoFundMe has been started for a Butler City family that lost their home in fire last week.
The fire broke out Wednesday at a home in the 500 block of Center Avenue, in the city’s South Side neighborhood.
The caller for the fire was the teen in the home and she suffered no burns but heavy smoke inhalation required her to be flown to a Pittsburgh Hospital. The home is considered a total loss.
The GoFundMe set up by the teen’s brother would cover immediate needs such as medical bills, temporary housing, and replacing basic essentials.
