Governor Josh Shapiro says he is trying to make it easier to vote by automatically registering voters who use the DMV.
Pennsylvania will automatically register eligible voters who are obtaining a new or renewed driver license or ID Card. That means when you renew or get a driver license, eligible voters will also be given the option to automatically register as well.
Those who are not registered to vote and currently have a valid license and ID will not be back dated. Unregister voters can register to vote at any PennDOT center or vote.pa.gov.
