Governor Tom Wolf has extended the state’s emergency declaration.
The previous order expired on Thursday, so Wolf opted to renew the declaration yesterday.
This all comes after two measures passed earlier this week to limit the governor’s emergency powers that could see the legislature put an end to the emergency declaration.
However, the amendment doesn’t go into effect until the results are certified, which won’t be until at least June 7th.
Wolf did say he would work with the legislature about future decisions regarding the disaster declaration.
