Butler County is extending the interim status of their solicitor through the rest of the year.
Julie Graham has been serving as solicitor since the departure of Wil White in March.
County commissioners say they are interviewing candidates for the job, which oversees the legal aspects of the county government.
Graham is expected to help the new solicitor transition into the role, whenever a candidate is selected.
This is the second time Graham has served as the interim solicitor; she previously filled the role in 2019.
