A local organization is receiving financial help through a state grant in order to grow agricultural infrastructure.
Community Partnership Incorporated will receive $32,000 through the PA Farm Bill’s Urban Agriculture Infrastructure Grant Program.
This money will be used for the Artisan Food Hub Project which will redevelop two empty lots into food production spaces, including storage, raised garden beds, and a rainwater collection system to support expanded charitable food options in the City of Butler.
21 projects in 10 counties across the state received a total of about $500,000 through the PA Farm Bill.
